We choose Nike as our study due to; firstly, most of our team members like sporting. We are interested with lots of sport brand especially the world well-known brand, Nike. The strong demand is because of the Olympic Games which hold in the year 2012. Operating Income The Nike, Inc operating income increase from USD2.474billion to USD 3.040billion from year 2010 to year 2012, there is a USD0.566billion increase in this two year. But the increasing rates are reduces because the costs of revenue and the selling general and administrative expenses are increase year by year, from USD6.36billion to USD7.431billion. Net Income The net income for Nike, Inc increased 14% from USD1.907billion to USD2.223billion, from year 2010 to year 2012 because the net income from continuing Ops is increasing year by year. Recent News of Nike The brand named Nike is the flagship brand owned by Nike,Inc. It wholly owned affiliates, reports as other business like Cole Haan, Converse, Hurley International LLC, Umbro, Nike Golf, and Jordan Brand. The dealbook.nytimes.com stated the Nike, Inc planned to sell two brands; there are Cole Haan and Umbro due to focus the other mainstay offerings.
